Jim Franklin

For more than 40 years, Pastor Jim Franklin has devoted his life to reaching people with the love and hope of Jesus. Since becoming Senior Pastor of Cornerstone Church in 1993, Pastor Jim has led with compassion, bold faith, and an unwavering heart for the city of Fresno. What began as a vision to impact a hurting community has grown into a thriving, multi-ethnic church family with thousands gathering weekly and more than 50 ministries serving people across the city.

Known for the message “Bringing Our City Back to God,” Pastor Jim’s ministry has always gone beyond the church walls. From feeding families and caring for the unhoused, to responding to gang violence with prayer, outreach, and hope, his mission has been to bring healing where there is brokenness and light where there is darkness.

Pastor Jim believes the church should be a place where every person feels seen, loved, and transformed by the presence of God. Through outreach ministries, worship, teaching, community care, and revival-focused leadership, he continues to inspire generations to live out their faith and make a difference in their city. Even in difficult seasons, his passion has remained the same: to see lives restored, families healed, and Fresno transformed through the power of Jesus Christ.
